Assistant Account Manager

Job Description
Entry-level, in-house position of Assistant Account Manager.
Primary responsibility is to assist and backup Expo Logic’s Account Managers on all Account Management functions, including but not limited to.
- Commitment to ensure outstanding customer service.
- Develop and maintain strong working relationship with all internal Expo Logic departments, communicating and working together to anticipate and resolve any issues related to the success of every client's event/show.
- Planning, ordering, tracking, with follow-up as necessary, all Event related materials such as Badge Stock, Badge Holders, Ribbons, etc. Work closely with the Registration Operations Manager;
- Advance and On Line Registration planning, set up and implementation. Including: badge printing/mailing, tracking status of all information and materials from the Client;
- Event logistics planning for on site operations, including: equipment allocation and shipping, staff travel and set up scheduling, and On Site System set up. Work closely with Equipment/Logistics Manager;
- Lead Retrieval logistics and planning; Work closely with Lead Retrieval Manager;
- An understanding and commitment to first–call resolution.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Requirements of this Position Include:
- HS Degree
- Project Management experience desirable.
- Good computer skills
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Web environments
- Good written and verbal communication skills

Operations Manager
Expo Logic is looking for an experienced operations manager (“Manager”) to run a 15+ employee back-office operation that supports Advance and Onsite Trade Show Registration Processing and related services.. The Manager will be responsible for managing and leading this back-office operation which provides call center (predominantly inbound), correspondence, cashiering, refunds, specialized mailings, badge printing and data entry. In addition to overseeing these daily operations the Manager, working with the Account Management staff, must also oversee the continued implementation of a document workflow procedures, registration applications and telephone system. The operations manager is to ensure that all contract and service level performance, production, quality standards and financial goals are being met or exceeded. The Manager is responsible for hiring, training and developing mid-level managers and entry-level staff while ensuring adherence to policies and procedures and customer service standards. The Manager meets with Account Management on a regular basis. Other responsibilities include on-going review, assessment and improvement of operational quality management practices, workflow, technology utilization and incentive compensation practices in order to maximize the quality and performance while minimizing operational costs.
Responsibilities:
The Manager will help develop, create, lead and manage a “high performance” management team and workforce that:
-Ensures that daily operating performance and quality standards are being met or exceeded within each function.
-Works with all staff to for the design, implementation, and maintenance of systems and procedures that improves productivity and quality. Converts all appropriate policies, procedures, measurements to the new systems with minimal customer service disruption
-Maintains and updates a quality management and monitoring plan focused on measurement, feedback and continuous quality improvement.
-Pays attention and “celebrates the detail”
-Maintains all policies and procedures on a current basis
-Strives to provide “spectacular” yet cost efficient customer service at every client citizen contact point (e.g. phones, email, correspondence, etc).
-Meets, manages, and maintains positive relations with the Account Managers and with the Clients.
-Ensures strict adherence to contract/regulatory polices and procedures.
-Handles exceptions: (e.g. Client or Registrant complaints, irate callers, etc.) in a factual, courteous, and expeditious fashion.
-Ensures that all collected funds (cashiering) are accurately quantified and deposited in a timely fashion.
-Performs all administrative tasks (h/r, analyzing expenses, reporting) accurately and timely
-Manages and measures subcontractor performance (e.g. data entry, shipping services, printing services)
-Develops, manages, and within project budget, meets and exceeds profit objectives
-Utilizes incentive compensation plans to reward/penalize management for production and quality performance.
Background/Education requirements:
-Minimum five years experience as a project/operations manager with particular emphasis in managing inbound call center, data entry staff and managing budgets.
-Bachelors degree required, but will consider candidates with extensive experience (over 10 years).
-Previous experience in trade show or fulfillment services a plus
-Working knowledge in implementing quality monitoring plans.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Internet Explorer and Outlook.
•Excellent written, oral and presentation skills.
•Experience in hiring, training and development of mid-level management.
•Excellent telephone skills relating to a customer service environment.

Account Manager
Expo Logic, a national leading provider of Registration and Information Services to the Convention, Meeting, and Trade Show industry based in Broomall, is actively seeking a motivated and personable Account Manager to join its management team.
In this vital role, your duties and responsibilities will include planning, managing, directing, and following-up on all aspects of our Clients’ registration operations, including managing registration operations on site at various convention centers and hotels throughout the US. You will interface and coordinate with Expo Logic’s Sales, IT and Shipping Departments to insure your assigned projects are managed and completed in an accurate, timely and professional fashion. This position will require travel to Convention and Trade Show sites throughout the US, often over weekends and holidays and requiring 12 hour days.
The ideal candidate will possess superior planning skills, flexibility, and attention to detail. A minimum three plus years experience working in a customer focused position. Trade Show/Convention experience highly desirable but not mandatory. You must have PC skills including knowledge of MS Office and Excel. We will train you regarding the specifics of the position.

We're a small, flexible company and require a highly motivated person who is comfortable with a great eye for design, customer contact and full-cycle project development.
Background/Education requirements: Must have experience with HTML, CSS, Adobe Photoshop, Dreamweaver. Additionally, knowledge in Javascript, Coldfusion and SQL are definitely pluses. 3+ years designer experience, a portfolio of your work and professional drive are all that's required to gain your foot in the door for an interview.
