W1201 - Everyday Metal Embossing (Repujado)

Students will learn the main techniques of traditional metal embossing: transfer, emboss, outline, antique, cut, adhere, etc. They will also learn how to do fast backgrounds and textures in 3 types of metal and how to do all sorts of projects with stencils, molds, stamps and free hand designs. They will create a book cover or light switch plate and will learn how to emboss leaves and flowers too. All basic materials (tools and metal) will be provided for the class.
